Upgrading Processor BIOS Question

I'm upgrading an AM4 build from a Ryzen 5 3600 to a Ryzen 7 5800X3D and need to do a BIOS update to my MSI B450 Tomahawk Max motherboard. My question is if I should just use the latest release of the BIOS or if there is a reason to use an older release.

Latest non BETA version will do the job 馃檪

The latest BIOS is the one that supports Ryzen 5000 on this motherboard in fact.

聽Thanks! That's what I thought but didn't want to screw it up if that wasn't the case.

You'll be fine 馃檪聽 Use the 3600 to update the BIOS and you are good to go!.
