Hi there! I have a problem with my PC.
From the first boot I could hear tiny coil whine from the PSU (this doesn't bother me if it's not the cause of the real problem).
Sometimes while gaming micro stutter occurs and continues in about 5-10sec intervals. At the exact moment of the stutter there is a pause of the coil whine in the PSU. Mostly happens after longer gaming sessions. And once it starts doesn't stop till I close the game. Temperatures are fine while monitoring them with HW.
The only thing I've done is undervolting the CPU. But even after I reset the default settings the stutter continues to appear. It's happening even in old and not that demanding titles as Guild Wars 2 or Overwatch2.
Any idea how I could find what causes the problem?
The config is:
13900k paired with Arctic ii 360 and grizzly frame
Aorus 4090
G skill 2x32gb 6000mhz cl30
Kc3000 nvme
Hydro pro pcie 5 atx 3.0 1000w gold PSU

Thanks in advance!

Thats a bizarre PSU youve got there, never heard of the brand but seems alright, its just the "Pro" version not "G  Pro" or "GT Pro"?

Could you provide a Hwinfo spec sheet and temp sensors under load and also, check what your 3.3, 5 and 12V values are?

Also try clearing CMOS?

Is it hardware microstutters or frames not syncing well on monitor and looking odd/tear-ey?

Have you tested with XMP off? If not try that. Could also be a driver issue. Download DDU: https://www.wagnardsoft.com/display-driver-uninstaller-ddu-

Run DDU. You'll get prompted when opening the program. Choose run in safe mode. After restart to safe mode, DDU will open. Go to options in DDU and choose prevent windows update from downloading drivers. Run clean and restart. After restart install nvidia drivers.

FSP is one of the biggest PSU brands, manufacturing for other vendors (OEM)

PSU is G pro.

I'm not on the PC at the moment, but I'll send HWinfo sheet once I'm home.

G Pro is a good one then, shouldnt be an issue with it. TBH, not sure what ill get off the spec sheet, @DoctorNicks instructions are the way to go though

Basically FSP is like Superflower. Both are great PSU Taiwanese based company that's well known in asia but in the western market, only known through other brands that partners with them. If you've own an EVGA psu, chances it's from superflower as the best reviewed EVGA psu models where made by Superflower.

But regarding your issue. So after check with what the other advised to reinstall drivers and possibly gpu bios(last resort) or check ram settings, as well as checking the gpu overclock/undervolt settings(if you did). You mentioned you already installed HW, have you checked if there's any consistency whenever the stutters happen? For example, if gpu temp or core temp spikes. Another is when CPU or GPU clock speed drops. Or if power consumption drops suddenly, etc.

At the exact moment of the stutter there is a pause of the coil whine in the PSU. Mostly happens after longer gaming sessions. And once it starts doesn't stop till I close the game. Temperatures are fine while monitoring them with HW.

When you say, it mostly happen after a long game and temps were fine. Was it the current temp or the max temp? How's the total power of the gpu, did it drop? and just to be sure, how many 8pin cables are you using? Because as much as possible, use 4 separate cables for each 8pin. If the PSU only has 3, then use dual 6pin to 8pin converter to combine two 6+2pin for the 4th.

Other things you can check are vsync and free/gsync settings on windows, monitor and ingame settings. You can also limit the FPS, but since you mentioned that it mostly happens after a long game. This might not be it.
