qualified vendors list

so im confused about qualified vendor lists should i be looking for the company my ram is produced by is supported by the mother board ex corsair or should i be making sure my specific ram choice is supported by the motherboard?

 

just for reference currently i have this motherboard picked out 

MSI PRO B650M-A WIFI Micro ATX AM5 Motherboard   and im trying to figure out if it works with this ram   Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory

The QVL is just a list of whatever they happened to test on that motherboard when they were designing it. It's rarely updated once the motherboard is released, unless they revise the hardware. Treat it like a jumping-off point, rather than a list of the only RAM that works on a given motherboard.

 

As long as the memory you buy is within spec for the processor you selected, it should be fine.
