140 mm Silence!

Go to solution Solved by Lays,

So do you recomend me noctua or be quiet?

Be quiet will probably be the best option, they should move more air and be quieter as well.

From what I've seen when it comes to CFM and noise, be quiet do it extremely well.

One quick question guys can you please tell me who is the quietest 140mm fan and also who is the quietest noctua fan?

Gentle Typhoons are really quiet I think. Don't know about noctua's fans though.

Unfortunately GT's are getting harder and harder to find now.

The pure wings two edt is probably a good all round radiator fan however it isnt typically optimizied for heatsinks or radiators specifically from looking at their website
Noctua is probably the go to option but if you dont want to spend a whole bunch of money on a single fan there are other options available

I suggest Be Quiet fans if you want low noise. When you plan to use them on a radiator, Noctua's fans would be a better choice.

BeQuite and Silverstone AP 141's

@Lays can tell you about Noctua's better

Thanks for your replies i wont use them on a radiator but inside my case i am looking for two intake and one exhaust.

Which of these do you recommend or should i go with be quiet http://www.e-shop.gr/search_main.phtml?table=PER&category=%C1%CD%C5%CC%C9%D3%D4%C7%D1%C1%D3+%CA%CF%D5%D4%C9%CF%D5&filter-2403=1&filter-2408=1

@Nickolas47

The specs on the Pure Wings 2 from Be Quiet are slightly better then the Silverstone AP141's.

http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=281

However there aren't any included adpaters for the Be Quiet fans ;(

Like I wrote the Pure Wings 2 will be fine. You can buy on eBay a cheap 12v to 5 or 7v adapter since on won't come with any adapter I think other than a 12v molex connector.

Might be. check between the two fan (the one i chose and the one you recommended) if both are similarly priced I would get which ever one is cheaper.
