Sure! Sorry i havent replied yet I shouldve done that when I first posted it but I was at school. and i will put the picture of the anntennta in a quote below 🙂

so the card in my computer (second hand) is being slow but thats probably the good part. A lot of the time when I connect to the internet on the computer it just straight up crashes. If I wiggle it around in the socket it works sometimes, but the bracket is bendy and one of the annetennas is kinda off bent and off centre. but it could also be power consumption when i have fans plugged in and speed test (when i managed to get the card working) its slower cause duh it needs more power if theres not enough itll be slow but when i have only the essential stuff in its faster but still slow it might be that my psu hasnt got enough whattage or something i dont know please help there is a video below to help (and yes this is the second time posting this im desprate and about to give up on the project.) if you need a list of the hardware i use just ask I'm too lazy to put it in the post

For giggles, are you able to try removing the PCIe WiFi card from your PC entirely @TheKenetical and connecting it to the router / modem via wired Ethernet? Totally understand that you might have to temporarily relocate the PC or modem / router to test this, but it would narrow the issue down to being (or not being) the PCIe WiFi card.

@TheKenetical

A little bit of flex on the adapter isn’t going to do much. Not quite seeing what you mean when you say that the adapter isn’t fitting into the slot.

What does “crash” mean? My interpretation of “crash” is that Windows throws an error code or blue screen or the computer completely shuts off randomly.

Show us a picture of that. If the antennae are damaged, you could simply get replacements.

BTW, from your video, it doesn’t look like the antennae are installed. Aren’t you using the antennae?

Also, in addition to what @kirashi suggested, try uninstalling the adapter via Device Manager. Shut down and move the adapter to the slot above. Start back up and install the drivers.

did that, its way faster (and by that anything could be faster than that card) It goes up to about 17 mbps instead of 12 mbps

what i mean by in the slot wrong is that it ussualy works when I wiggle it around

yeah I think I did that a while ago the slot above i think is worse for fitting in right and is underneath my gpu and the fans lose their crap when they dont have enough airflow. And for your awnser to it crashing it just freezes and sometimes but rarely bluescrrens i never get time to see it cause i just turn off my computer and wiggle around the card until its in there right then turn it back on if its not in it crashes again the i do the entire process again.

and yes I know I didnt have the anntenes on I was taking everything apart to recable.
