Beginners advice

Ok I have an office

I have a dell t310 server with MS server 2012

I have one client workstation.

I hVe an ASUS n55 router.

I have successfully set the server and all the ip addresses to the 10.1.10.1 format.

Server is 10.1.10.2

Router set to 10.1.10.1

Clients range dynamically from 10.1.10.100-200

Now when I set the routers IP address it now loses Internet connection.

What am I doing wrong?

How are you setting the router IP? How are you setting the server IP?
