Overclocker?

Go to solution Solved by aricleather,

Im planning on overclocking the snot out of an FX 8350. Right now I have chosen this motherboard:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0055QYKQE/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_S_img?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1QSULBNADWQH7&coliid=I2I2LJYPGONFUJ

but i was wondering if anyone knows if this could handle a decent overclock?:

I know theres only a $60 - $70 difference but I was wondering if the extra money is worth it.

Get the 970a-UD3P from Gigabyte. It's got most of the features 990fx supports, and an 8+2 power design, so you should be able to overclock very well on it.

I own the GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 MOBO and I overclocked it to 4.6GHz no problem.  But I wish I had bought an Asus mobo.  They tend to be more granular and offer more customization/tweaking options in the BIOS.
