Need CPU Help

Over the course of the last few weeks, my CPU has been randomly heating up to 100 degrees C out of nowhere. Sometimes while gaming, sometimes while idle, and even sometimes when just booting up the pc. I've re-applied thermal paste, re-configured fans, there's nothing wrong with my AIO. Is my CPU faulty and should I just buy a new one? Or does anyone have any suggestions?
