4k or 1440p

Sir Judgementz

Hi all,

I have a Asrock X670E Pro RS. with Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 32GB DDR5-6000 PC5-48000 CAS Latency 36, Timings 36-36-36-76, and a AMD Ryzen 7800X3D, with a 4080. i am using a LG-27GN950-B 4K Monitor now. I have been looking into the new monitors, really liking the QD-OLED. wanted to ask what do you guys think, should i go 4k or 1440p and max everything little thing out?

I don't understand the question? Get the monitor if you like it. You already got a 4K monitor, how does it run for ya? Are you happy with the FPS you're getting, if yes then you can go 4K. 1440p won't look as good as 4K

the new monitor at ces are looking good. i think i will be upgrading to one of them. wanted to know if its a better idea to have native maxed out everything and ray tracing on 1440p or have mostly maxed out setting with less ray tracing and have to turn on DLSS?
