Liquid or Air Cooling for i7-14700?

Meera_67

Hey all,

I want to know your thoughts on which cooling system best fits this CPU. I will primarily be using it for gaming and nothing thats CPU intensive like streaming or such things. Its paired with an RTX 4070 Ti Super from ASUS, if that makes a difference.

air coolers have gotten so good and cheap that I'd just get the thermalright PA120SE or Deepcool AK620 if that's the only one available in your region

Message me on discord (bread8669) for more help

For cooling air coolers are plenty enough, Get Thermalright Phantom Spirit or Peerless assassin, it will be good. ID Cooling Frozn A720 is also great.

AIO coolers are good for aesthetics, but not necessary for cooling.

Yes, I was a little new to the AIO term but I understand. My main goal is cooling, aesthetics are a bonus but not necessary.

Then youll want a nice looking air cooler imo, theyll do the exact same job, last longer and be at least half the price. A nice looking, very top tier performing air cooler if youd like it, imo is,
