Windows updates breaking graphics driver

So i have this laptop that is having so display driver issues, it freezes and screen becomes unresponsive.

I have tried to boot in safe mode and ddu the drivers and after that it works well for a bit and then does it again.

i tried reinstalling windows and the same thing happens. I have narrowed it down to windows updates when they run the issue seems to come back. So i tried downloading the intel iris xe graphics driver separately for that particular cpu and still got the issue after.

could anyone suggest steps to solve that ?

Did you disable your wifi/lan when you booted back into windows to reinstall the gpu drivers that you downloaded? because if you did not then windows could have reinstall their gpu drivers.
