internet on wifi slow, but using a VPN or cable makes it fast again

Hi, I have a very weird problem where my laptop on wifi is very slow.

 

-When connected via cable I can get my full internet apeed

-When on wifi, but connected through cloudflare warp VPN, I can also get my normal speed

-Other devices on my wifi network works normally at full speed. It's just my laptop being weird

-I'm using openWrt on a Redmi ax 6000 (wifi 6) on a mixed mode (2.4 and 5ghz on the same ssid and password)

 

Does anyone know what is happening and how to solve it? Thanks!

Did you mess with the IP/DNS stuff of the wifi adapter on the laptop?

Are you doing things on the laptop that you are not doing on other devices?

No, DNS is set to automatic (DHCP), same as all other devices. I do use 1.1.1.1 with fallback to 8.8.8.8 on the router tho.

Not really. Just browsing and downloading some stuff here and there.
