No image displaying

Hello,

So I have a brand new build, first time starting it since assembly, so no os installed.

But when I turn it on with a display plugged in it doesn't display anything.

 

Any ideas of problems an fixes.

I have checked my CPU and GPU and they are both connected properly.

You are going to need to provide some additional information. What type of PC is it? CPU, GPU Motherboard specs? 

Where are you plugging in the display? HDMI or DP?

Is is a custom built pc,

GPU is gigabyte RTX 3060

CPU is intel i9 13900

Motherboard is a gigabyte DS3H DDR4 13th gen

Display is plugged into HDMI port on the GPU.

 

Is there any other details that would be useful?

Stupid Question, but: Have you plugged your cable into the back of the Motherboard (where all the USB goes, above the GPU).

Otherwise, try a different cable, I have had some reaaaally weird issues with seemingly fine cables, so try that. Also: try (if you can) DisplayPort if your using HDMI and the opposite, also try to (if you can) switch ports on the monitor and make sure it's on and the right input is selected ;).

I have tried the port on the motherboard but it didn't seem to make a difference.

I will try a different cable anget back to you although I tested it on another device and it worked fine.

I unfortunately can only use HDMI with my monitor.

Take off gpu from pc, boot with integrated graphics

 

Use one ram stick and make sure ram is installed properly

 

Also use Q-FLASH and update bios by pressing that small button at I/O, with usb

Oh do I have to have ram installed

I thought the integrated ram in my GPU would be ok for the moment at least.

I'm fairly new to this pc building thing so someone might have to help me with how to do a usb BIOS flash.

Download latest bios from this site,format usb fat32 and copy this bios file to usb

 

Then insert usb flash drive to motherboard and press q flash find video on youtube

Remember you have to take off gpu otherwise integrated graphics will not work

No its for b660m, download B760M if you have that motherboard

Plug flash drive and press q flash button

I pressed the button shown in the second image then put the usb in the bios slot the then turned the pc on.

is that all I need to do

First insert usb and then press q flash, make sure usb flash drive is formated on fat32

Ok my pc just seems to have shut down or is it hat normal.
