CPU Upgrade Makes System Not Post (AMD)

My system works as is but when I got to upgrade the R5 2600 to a R5 5600X (Officially supported by MOBO) The computer locks up at the "American Megatrends" Screen and the VGA light is stuck on. I've swapped the system back and fourth about 3 times and the 2600 never fails to boot, while the 5600X always locks up. I've tried without the GPU, Reseating the RAM, only one stick of ram. I'm out of options.
