so one of my work pcs has a 3200g cpu on a AMD B450 AORUS mobo
I want to upgrade the bios in order to replcae the cpu with a 5600g

The method I'll be using it'll be via software from gigabyte control center-bios
so, my questions are the following:

1) since my mobo has the default bios, do I have to upgrade one bios at a time or can I upgrade to the last bios version directly (basicaly skipping all the other versions in between)

2) check the image below, on some bios versions (F40 for example) it says I need to install EC fw update tool in order to avoid 4DIMM DDR incompatibility on 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen™ CPU. But if the answer to first question is yes, then technically I dont have to do this since I can upgrade to the last bios which doesnt require to install EC fw update tool, right?

3) is there a way to check my mobo rev (rev. 1.0/1.1/1.2) without opening my pc case? (i dont have the mobo box anymore and I'm trying to avoid opening the case - I'm pretty sure it's written on the mobo but I have to move the entire furniture to access the case), so I can be 100% sure I'm downloading the correct one

waiting for reply, thanks

Which exact B450 Aorus?

There are Bioses you must not skip, and those have it written in the description, stuff like "Update to F31 before upgrading to F40" where it means "F40 or newer".

As for the EC Firmware, if there is a one - do it independently of the Bios update, at best before any Bios updates.
