PC Freezing Up

Hello all!

This is my first post here. I am having a problem with my pc and figured this forum is a good place to find some answers. I put together a pretty decent pc I thought. I will list the specs below. I usually only play Counter Strike and have Opera Gx on the side with a video or something. I also have discord open most of the time, but that is mostly it. I will have trouble sometimes with my computer freezing up. It won't shut down, but I will leave it for like 5 minutes and it will eventually catch up. I looked in the task manager and it seems my ram like idles at 50% usage which does not make sense to me. I looked through task manager and I dont have anything crazy that would use a lot of ram in the background. Would just upgrading to more ram fix this problem or is it deeper? Thanks again for anyone who reads this and takes the time!

CPU- Ryzen 9 5900x

GPU- RX 6750xt reference

Storage - Samsung ssd boot drive + 2tb 980 pro + 2tb bulk hdd storage

Ram - Corsair Vengeance Pro 16gb 3200MHz (2 x 8gb sticks)

Motherboard - MSI B550 Gaming Plus

As hard as this is for me to say...the amount of RAM you have is perfectly fine. We need to gather some information. My first suggestion is https://www.resplendence.com/whysoslow home edition. This is a little app you can leave running in the background. The next time you freeze do Ctrl+Alt+Del and switch to Why So Slow, it can generate a report and at least begin to narrow down what part of the system is failing. We can dig further from there.
