Fortnite BEservice.exe throttles app - causes Unbearable framerate and input delay?

Hi, Recently bought a new gpu due to the last one breaking; set it up today and attempting to play fortnite, only to find out that on boot application is throttled to 6-8 frames and 200ms input delay. this problem is caused by the application only seeming to use 2% cpu 0% gpu when BEservice.exe is open (BattlEye cheat software), but when closed fortnite returns to its usual CPU/GPU usage in menu.

is there anything that i can try before i reinstall the game? drivers are up to date, occurs in performance mode also. pics attached show fps in red text above task manager.

forgot to mention it is required to play and i have to end BEservice.exe in task manager
