I still feel like $300 is too much for one of these. However at this price I definitely would have gotten one just to experience how shit these are myself.

I've used the flip series for the last +2 years, hands down the best solution to the problem I've been trying to solve with smartphones for the last 6 or so years. I've gone as far as to test iPhones and tiny phones like a Unihertz Atom.

 

By far the best "you mostly carry it, but sometimes need a real phone" smartphone form factor. Just be careful if you work around metal, shavings will stick to the magnets and puncture the display.

Especially since it's a coming up on a 6 year old phone with no warranty. They were fragile enough when new.
