I want to get a modular PSU for my first build (I am OCD and would love to get a modular one for cable management), but I am confused. All definitions say that it has no cables attached, but they don't specify if the cables are included in the box or if you will have to buy the cables separately. So do the cables come in the box with the PSU or not?

Anyone else watch Fairy Tail?

I don't know of a PSU that does not come with the cables, modular or non-modular.  I highly recommend EVGA supernova PSUs.  Fully modular, 80+ gold efficiency, sleeved cables, and a great value/price relative to other brands with similar specs.

A modular PSU will come with cables, although you can often buy separate cable kits if you want different colours or individually sleeved etc.

Thanks for the answers this definitely helped,  just didn't want to get a PSU and be disappointed at the missing cables as i live in a small town about an hour from a PC shop and a half hour from the closest UPS/FedEx. i just wanted to be able to get it all in one run.
