iPhone 15 uneven speaker mesh?

I don’t understand how this could be a thing but I completely accidentally noticed that one of the holes of the microphone at the bottom has a slightly taller mesh than the rest. All of the holes, microphone and speaker, seem to be on the same level but one of the three microphone holes is raised. 
 

So, is the mesh underneath one big mesh and the holes reveal a little part of it, or do all holes have their own small circular meshes? 
 

If it’s a one big one, I assume it might be somewhat crooked inside? 
 

I can’t find pics online about the anatomy. Can anyone confirm?
