Is there a method to make an application shortcut (.Imk) to execute a hotkey press after opening the program?

I have a shortcut in my Startup folder for Syncthing, a program whose purpose isn't especially relevant. But it opens up in command-line. I have it set to run minimized at startup, but I also downloaded RBTray so I could send the program to the system tray automatically at startup instead of cluttering up my taskbar. Usually in RBTray, you would just use the hotkey Ctrl+ALT+downkey on whatever the active window is, and boom it does its magic, but as I said I want to automate it, but I can't even get syncthing to run whenever I modify the Target line. Maybe I'm using the wrong parameters or something or maybe it's not even possible, but I kinda doubt that. I have no idea what the issue is though.

You should simply use SyncTrayzor instead, that does all that's needed for Syncthing to be comfortably usable on Windows.

You're right, I actually use Syncing Tray instead (not sure how different SyncTrayznor is) and didn't realize it had the feature I was looking for. Well, in the spirit of learning, I'm still interested in what the solution would be for my original strategy. Always good to expand the human featureset 😂
