I recently bought a new 2tb wd black ssd to put in my msi ge66 raiders second disc slot. However while the device recognises the driver is there the driver settings will not migrate and it does not show up in disc manager. I checked the bios and there is nothing in there to fix this, what should I do so that the device setings migrate properly?

I'm confused by what you mean when you say "the device recognizes the driver, but the driver settings won't migrate."

What driver settings? What are you trying to migrate? Why would the device (the laptop?) need to recognize drivers?

Normally when you install a new NVMe SSD, it should be auto-detected in the BIOS and appear in Windows Device Manager.
