Hello there!

So my system has been having some weird freezes happening, usually during Youtube or Twitch playback. For some time I thought it was just a software issue (system was set up 3 years ago), as I installed different RGB softwares and driver updates and other things. So I took my time this weekend and started fresh with a clean Windows 10 Pro 64bit install and then from there really only installed the software and drivers I needed. Unfortunately the issue persisted: during Youtube or Twitch Playback the video would freeze, the sound would continue though. I sometimes managed to open Task Manager where the performance tab was also basically frozen with the GPU sometimes sitting at "100% and a random temperature" or "-1% and 30°". So at first I kinda thought it was the GPU, but then nothing ever happened in games, even demanding ones. My roommate suggested I should just try to replace some components to see if the behaviour changes, so I took his 2x8GB Kit of Kingston 3600 RAM (don't remember the exact model, but I couldn't find it on the QVL list for the motherboard) and put it in instead of my Trident Z Neo... And the system worked just fine. After replacing my RAM the issue came back almost immediately. But now, that I disable the Asus AURA Sync RBG control for the RAM, the issue seems to be gone as well... I'm at a loss as to why this might be happening...

System specs:

Ryzen 7 3700X with NZXT Kraken X63

Asus ROG Strix X-570-E Gaming

2x16GB Trident Z Neo (F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC)

Asus ROG Strix Geforce RTX 2070 Super OC

Seasonic Prime PX 650 Watt

All in a beQuiet Dark Base Pro 900

The issue wasn't there from the beginning... Kept my BIOS up to date and all. Anyone experiencing something like that or has heard of something like that?

Little update: even with the RGB not being controlled the system still froze on me. Also, I did do a Memtest on the RAM and it came back with no errors (one pass)
