Cs2 won't open on Linux

Hello,

I installed Linux and tried to run cs2 but when I open it up it just shows the valve screen and wont let me play.

Any ideas on how to fix?

Which distro are you using? Also are you trying to run it through Proton or native? I recommend checking games on https://www.protondb.com/app/730 since it's a good place to get an idea of the best way to run the game, and if there's any launch options that need to be used.
