Does Windows Server 2022 support AMD Threadripper CPU?

I can't think of a reason it wouldn't. You'll just have to make sure it's licensed for all your CPU cores.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

Well, I know it doesn't run on i7 unless you trun off E cores in UEFI.

that seems highly unlikely, do you have a source on that?

I don’t know if I believe this. Windows XP will run on i7’s with e cores, hell probably so would win 95 or 98. X86 is x86.

There may be weird licensing issues… or the schedulers in the OS may not be very well supported, but I can’t see it flat out not running.

you'll defenately need a bigger license, because server 2022 is licensed per-core.

as for the scheduler - windows server's scheduler is built to handle NUMA nodes, so i doubt p/e cores will be an issue.
