Other details (Was thinking to use some sort of used cpu, looking for a motherboard with atleast 8sata ports.

I have an old i3-2120, and 2x4 gb laptop ddr3 1333mhz, 20year old 300w psu from an acer prebuilt with 0 pcie connectors, (2x1gb ddr2, 2x512mb ddr2, 1x1gb ddr2) all 667mhz, 2gb of ddr3 laptop 1333mhz, old athlon 64 x2, old sound card, x1950 pro gpu.

No RGB please, looking for a PC case that can hold a lot of hard drives. I dislike Teamgroup and Silicon Power products as they are unreliable and untrustworthy.

Hello... I was thinking that if you have that big of a budget then why not go with something like this? Also if you don't like the RGB on the Case then you can always just turn it off with the MSI Mystic Light Software.

I don't want you telling me how to spend my money without getting to the goal, I'm looking for a nas not a pc with a GPU as good as my gaming pc and a better psu than my gaming pc.
