My pc freezes after 5 seconds to 2 minutes, after startup. This happens every time, and is really anoying. I can move my mouse, but it also freezes after a while. The sound freezes, like makes one constant hung up sound. It is impossible to turn the machine off. When I restart it, I can choose between 4 modes, and 3 of those are safe mode. I don´t get any "repair choice".

Please help me. Is it my SSD that is broken, or do I just simply have to reinstall Windows 7 to it? I bet there is a bad driver, but i can´t fix that. Thanks.

Could be a lot of things but just to make sure that RAM isnt the problem, i'd run memtest, i had a pc that froze after it booted up and it was the ram!

EDIT: Just saw that was your first post. Welcome to the forums :D

My pc is like 6 months old or less. And I have never had problems with it before. Just happened randomly. I really don´t think it is the problem..

You might have a virus, what i would do is run memtest first, and if that passes i'd reinstall windows. Because if you reinstalled windows and then the Ram was the problem you just wasted time!

It could be something completely different but these two things come in mind first

Yea, but removed the cpu over clock. but my GTX 680 is still running the over clock. I have a i7 3820. I have heard that it isn´t smart to over clock? Is that true? If it is, it should not be possible so.. yea..

You may have had a hardware crash.

Have you tried booting into safe mode by pressing F8 during launch?

Put a copy of ubuntu, or a windows install or any OS on a USB drive and see if you can run the computer from there. Once there consider backing up all your data incase you can't recover

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Users cannot, and will not securely manage key material. Most users can't and the ones that can, wont.

Ask me about Bitcoin, Litecoin, Crypto-Currencies, and/or Mining them.

I have done some backups, of important stuff to one of my other hard drives. Is a clean install of Windows a possible choice? Thanks to everyone for replying so far!

If you had some OC, i'll verify the voltages, and the RAM, i had ram errors after 3 months due to bad timings, and it was acting exactly like yours, so please do a memtest86 and report back.

You must not run Memtest86+ from inside Windows, you must boot into Memtest86+ and then run it.

Memtest is a DOS operation, put it on a usb stick and boot from it.
