One of my hard drives was running hot

If it works it works! Only concern would be, maybe the fan would be better the other way around, sucking cool air over the hard drive. If you keep the back of your computer close to a wall, that fan will just end up sucking up the hot exhaust from the rear and blowing it back into the case (and onto the HDD).

Oh yeah that might be better.

But so far its down from 53 degrees to 40 which is good enough for me lol
