Fair price for keycaps?

Go to solution Solved by OhioYJ,

You're going to find this is all over the map. From like $5 from just cheap junk, to literally hundreds. You probably ought to read a little on the pro-cons of the different types of key materials and then decide what you want.

Personally I would shoot for a about $20-30 range, and get a PBT double shot set. Generally you can find complete sets in this range. I'm not sure what the 65% sets go for, as I'm a full size keyboard user myself.

Hello

I recently bought a 65% keyboard and I'm looking at buying replacement kecaps, as the caps I now have are in the German QWERTZ layout (I prefer QWERTY) and I don't like the font of them. What would be a fair pricepoint for replacement quality keycaps?

Thanks in advance

Why on earth did you buy a QWERTZ layout keyboard if you prefer QWERTY?

When i bought the board about 3 weeks ago, I had a strict budget of 50 euro. The only layout option i had was QWERTZ as I had to order it through Amazon Germany (and QWERTZ is the national keyboard layout there). QWERTY which i would've had to order from the Netherlands, was 75 euro plus shipping. So simply put, it was cheaper to buy the board in the QWERTZ layout.
