What AIO should I get for a 7900x? GA II or LT720

Chriexpe

I've seen quite a lot of good reviews and opinions about Deepcool LT720, and also from the newer WC from Lian Li Galahad II Performance that was very positively shilled by Tom's Hardware, so what is your overall opinion about both, given that here they cost basically the same? Or maybe, given the "short" lifespan of WC and for example an issue with the first revision of Galahad II being noisy, should I get something that cost half of them and has approximate cooling performance like Thermalright Frozen Notte 360?

I do currently own a TR PS120SE but as I'm getting a new case (H9 Flow) I'm going for looks too, that's why the AIO.

Both the LS/LT720, and the LL Performance are top-rated AIOs and the fans have pressure over 3 mmAq, which is good. Performance-wise, they are better than the Arctic LF2, but that one beats them when you add noise to the equation.

However, you can buy a cheap AIO that has a great rad and pump, and put much stronger fans on it so that it "blows away" the expensive ones. The Frozen Notte is one such choice.

Be wary of brands like SAMA and Draecena, which offer cheap AIOs that have weak fans and pumps.

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂
