Does anyone happen to know why my newly built pc that is fully functional can not use the xmp profiles or even manual over locking of the ram. When I try to enable xmp and save and exit from bios my pc tried to start but eventually it sends me back to bios because of a boot failure

Make sure ram is located in slot A2 and B2. You should be able to manually set frequency, dram voltage and primary timings if XMP isn't working, unless ram is very high clock speed. Also depends on what CPU you're using. I only know the motherboard Z790P prime Z790-v and that supports up to 7200mhz ram (OC)

Providing some information as to what hardware you are running will help people help you troubleshoot.

Also, update your BIOS if you haven't already.

I haven’t updated the bios yet, I don’t know how to and have had some trouble with my bios recently which has been discouraging me. I have a z790 v wifi and have an i9

I’m pretty sure my tan is in the wrong 2 slots then, I have them in A1 and B1. My ram is 5200 and my cpu is an i9

For future reference, most motherboards will print on them which slots to populate first
