Hello. my newly built PC does not post.

- Cables checked

- The MBs buttons on the IO-shield light up and i have updated the BIOS using them

- The PSU fan spins when using the paperclip technique.

- I have attempted to power on without GPU. Still nothing

- I have reseated the ram and attempted with just one stick.

At first i thought i was the MB that was faulty So i returned it and received a new one but the issue persists. What else could it be?

Here are some more things to check:

  • All power connectors are fully inserted. The CPU 4-6 pin and Motherboard 24-pin should both have clicked into their respective sockets.
  • Check the lights on the motherboard usually on the right side of the RAM slots. They're for troubleshooting, and one will light up depending on the problem being encountered. They should all be labeled.
  • Try turning on the PC by shorting the power button pins with a screwdriver. You could have a power button that's not working.
  • Reinstall your CPU, making sure that you are using the correct AM5 installation method.
  • Check your CMOS battery.

Does anything happen when you press the power button? (eg. any of the fans spinning, lights coming on)

I try to be respectful. If I ever come off in a different manner, I probably don't mean to. If I don't help you sorry, if I do, mark my comment as the solution.
