So I finished my water cooling build and I did some temperature testing and I'm not sure if my CPU temps are correct... I have a XT45 360mm and a UT60 240mm radiators with AP-15s running in 7volts. I have a Koolance CPU-380i with an i7 4770k at stock clocks and my cpu is delidded. My idle temps are around 30c and load running a stress test gets around 60c. Aren't the load temps high? Even my R9 290 with EK block doesn't get that high, idle 30c and 40c for load with stress test.... What is up with my cpu? Is there still air in the block?

60c is good, don't see a problem.

Really? What do you guys get under stress test?

My main PC is 68c under full small fft load in prime 95

running your fans at 1100rpm would account for a bit warmer temperature. but you are fine.

ambient is?

Around 21c, depends on the day as Vancouver is a funny place. Cold, Hot, Hot, Cold... Also the computer is in the basement which is a good thing..

@IBIubbleTea

with a 40° delta you are doing well. possible 3-4° drop on 12v fan speed.

which would be expected. any more reduction in temperature would be finding

out the actual coolant temperature. 37° would be a nominal for your ambient.

only drastic measure for lower temps would be deeper static at same rpm. but

then only would see 3-6° bettering.
