Smart home

Anyone know where to find any Smart home topics? Long story short I'm looking for some type of smart button to control my smart plugs so I don't constantly have to use my phone. Rented so I can't modify existing switches.

That'll depend a lot on what the existing equipment is / is compatible with.

i’m thoroughly using HomeKit, and because I’m already into Lutron Caseta switches (and therefore their Bridge product), I use their Pico remotes with Homebridge automations (running on a Pi) to use them as buttons for various things, like window shades and undercabinet lighting.
