Then controller was 100, nand 88. Meshify 2 case, 3x140 intake, 2x140 exhaust all running at 500 rpm, gpu fans running at 800rpm, 990 was in M2_1 thats under the D15S, 970 was in the bottom slot. Teach me what should I do to cut the temperature in half like you say.

What software were you using to measure the temps? Are you able to validate using 2 different programs that you're getting a consistent temp measurement?

Also, is this a steady state temp? Right next to the D15, you could be getting a lot of ambient heat dissipation very close to the drive, impacting the thermals, not to mention I am guessing it's also right next to the graphics card based on the topmost PCIe slot being right next to M2_1 on most boards.

Likewise, the Samsung 970 being in the bottom M2 slot is likely gonna keep it away from the hotter components.  What motherboard is this on? You might consider swapping the location of the 970 and the 990 to keep the higher power draw SSD way from the hot components

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.
