I’m not sure what to go for. I want to play all sorts of games at 1440p but I want to know wether I should go for a i5 13600k + rx 7800 xt or Ryzen 7 7800x3d + rx 7800xt, for a little bit more. And I know there’s a benefit of getting AMD + AMD but not entirely sure what that is so if someone could tell me that would be highly appreciated

Not sure about the amd + amd benefits, but the 7800X3D is definitely worth it because of a few reasons. It uses 2 times less power in games, for more perfomance, and you actualy have future upgradability for like 5 more years, unlike with intel, where the 13600k is basically the last gen cpu for this socket

^^

This

13600K is significantly cheaper, and makes sense if you need more multicore power for productivity, but for gaming it's always worse and not upgradable

Can't really tell about AMD+AMD benefits, as you can't really compare to AMD+NVidia or Intel+AMD ...

Not really much benefit for going AMD+AMD here as it's not like going with one company gives you an insane performance increase just by using their products together.

However, I would definitely go with the 7800X3D since it'll perform better gaming and you can always upgrade to a future X3D chip a couple years down the road on this platform, unlike the 13600K being on a dead platform.

There is usually no benefit for going AMD+AMD  although it's almost imposible to compare since there GPUs allways perform different. About 13600k vs 7800X3d depends on your budget: 7800X3d is definitly going to perform better in gaming (other tasks may not but probably also) as well as probably having more upgrade options in the future. That said if u are on a tight budget maybe it's not worth spending more on the better CPU and rather you prefeer spending on other parts (akthough depends on your specific game).

I'm sorry if i made any spelling mistakes, i'm not an English speaker.

Country?

Budget?

Games you wanna play?

Usecases outside of gaming?

Any existing parts/pc?

7800x3d demolishes basically any cpu as long as whatever you are doing utilizes the extra cache, but if that extra cache isnt used you may wanna opt for a different cpu

7800xt is pretty decent but id be more inclined to opt for a used 3090 or a used 6900xt/6950xt as those will crush the 7800xt in performance (7800xt performs similarly to a 6800xt btw)

Oh right I thought I remembered seeing something about it being a bit better because of the same company. But never mind then.
