Call recorder for iPhone (USB C)

Hello,

 

I'm after a recommendation for a device that can connect between an iPhone (USB C) and headphones (Thunderbolt or USB C) and record phone calls. Been searching for a while and the only things I can find are either dictaphones to record an in-person conversation, or services & apps that requires the call to be routed through a third-party service. Since we would be using this in a professional setting, and would use it for both outgoing and incoming call, a third-party service is not possible.

 

In my mind there must be a simple device that can record phone calls by being connected between the iPhone and the headset, and that has battery for at least 8 hours. Any recommendations are more than welcome.
