Usb header

So I have thermaltake pure plus case fans and for about a year they have been working fine lights up spins etc. the problem is when I try and customize the lights doesn’t connect. My problem is the 9 pin connector for the usb header doesn’t fit all the way. It only goes about half way down on the pins. I looked they don’t look bent is there any way to fix this.

Can you send a picture of the header with the connector plugged in?

Sorry for the bad angle it’s the only angle that would produce a clear shot. It goes on but then I feel resistance about half way on the pins

Carefully push on the connector while wiggling it back and forth a bit, it might just have gotten hung up on something.

hmm.. is it me or does that usb2 internal plug look upside down?
