whats a cheap but decent quality time lapse camera?

looking at finding something thats decent quality and doesnt break the bank, got no idea where to start looking to be honest, if i can use an old samsung a70 phone or somehow use the canon powershot sx60 hs ive got that would be awesome any tips and advice is welcomed, thanks

If you can get your hands on a compatible model, CHDK for Canon cameras can do a timelapse. (Unfortunately they don't support the sx70.)

i got the model number wrong, it is the sx60 camera ive got

Give CHDK a try then. It's FOSS and runs off the memory card, so all it's going to cost you is time.
