I have 2 pcs in different rooms they are both connected to a ethernet switch which is connected to 1 port on my router, I'm having problems with internet speeds both pcs have different download speeds, 1 is 78 download and the other is 20 download but both same upload speed, how can I get both with equal download speeds?

You’re using an actual switch? Is the entire network gigabit? Using a gigabit switch and cat 5e or better cable?

 

Sure sounds like something in the line is only 100megabit. It would either be the switch or the wire going from the switch to the router.

If it resolves by during one off, you have a bad switch. Change ports on the switch.
