I'm wanting my next upgrade to be my motherboard but don't know much about them tbh still new to pc building, just don't know what to get. Thoughts?

Personally I'd just keep saving and do a bigger upgrade a bit more into the future.

The two biggest problems in that system are the RAM capacity and motherboard, where 16GB is getting hard to deal with nowadays (it's still usable for a gaming system, but barely) and the VRM on that board will cause power throttling during high CPU load. The problem is a new motherboard is going to require going onto the used market and the good ones on there are generally pretty expensive for not that much extra performance, and if you might as well hold out on motherboard until you do a platform upgrade, you won't be able to carry your RAM forward either and thus spending the ~$50 on a 32GB kit of RAM doesn't make much sense if you can just deal with 16GB for a few more months.

New hardware is going to be launching early next year anyway, so no matter what it's a good idea to wait the ~1 month to figure out what new is coming out and see if that influences the prices of anything currently on the market.

Budget (including currency):  $100-$250

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:  Ark(Modded), COD, EA FC 24, RL, Minecraft(Modded)

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):  Here Is my Pc part list-https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3WNgZJ

I'm wanting my next upgrade to be my motherboard but don't know much about them tbh still new to pc building, just don't know what to get. Thoughts?

So you would recommend just waiting to see what happens and spend that money on a new motherboard, cpu, ram?

Pretty much. Probably do an AM5 build of some sort, though if Intel prices end up better going for a 12/13/14th gen build isn't necessarily a bad idea.

On the intel front keep in mind that 14th gen will most likely be the end of the current LGA 1700 socket. which can mean a couple things.

1: No upgrade path for the future

2:Possible good deals as vendors look to offload the rest of their stock.

To be fair there is nothing wrong with a 14th or 13th Gen intel system and they run great. But it might be better to look at the 15th Gen on intel's side for more longevity.

I do agree with RONOTHAN## save and do a full upgrade the 9th gen systems while pretty great are just lagging behind at this point.

Technology is like a good friend that does its best to piss you off at every turn. yet we love them anyway.

Oh for sure, but last I checked rumors had 15th gen being released sometime during late Q3 or early Q4 of next year rather than Q1 or early Q2, so if OP wanted to do an upgrade somewhat soon that's not likely to be an option.
