Custom cables for ITX Build

I ordered a xproto L from xtia for a build, but am unable to get custom cables from them for my PSU (RM850e). How necessary are custom cables for this case (for reference, the cables that come with the RM850e are about double the length of the custom ones)?

It's not necessary. You can try the stock cables and see how it goes.

 

The PSU uses Corsair type 4 PSU cables. If the stock cables prove overly difficult, check Amazon and eBay for shorter Type 4 cables. Perhaps ones for Corsair SFX units that use Type 4 cables.

Finished the build, current issue is that the cables all need to make a very sharp 90 degree turn in a very small space - are softer cables good enough to do this, or do I need a 90 degree adapter (and if so, where do I get one - it needs to be on the psu, not the motherboard)?
