EOL for Synology DSM 6.2

At least they gave a year's notice.  For some reason the email notice was sent out a few months after the website post.  Time to start looking to upgrade to a unit that is DSM 7 compatible:

You are receiving this email because one or more devices registered on your Synology Account support or may still be running DSM 6. No actions are needed if your systems have already been upgraded to DSM 7.   DSM 6.0, released in early-2016, was a significant upgrade to our operating system. Not only did it bring Btrfs to a large number of Synology systems, but it also introduced substantial security, reliability, and productivity features. The final major feature update to DSM 6 was released as DSM 6.2 in May 2018.   DSM 6.2 will no longer receive security updates starting October 1, 2024.   For systems released prior to 2013, DSM 6.2 will be the final operating system release available. More recent systems will have access to DSM 7.1 and 7.2 releases.   Model   11-12 series Your systems will continue to function. However, no additional software updates will be released after October 1, 2024. Technical support provided by Synology may become more limited. 13-15 series Upgradeable to DSM 7.1 16 series and newer, SA/FS/HD families Upgradeable to DSM 7.2   Learn more
