Histoire everyone. Pretty New to overcloking undervolting

I just got a nice New build and starting oc/uv my CPU

Saw on a lot of Reddit post that my CPU stock cinebench IS around 18k and stock I got 12330

Then with a setup of -15 to both best cores and -30 to thé rest I was able to hit 13400.

All of that with now a PPT of 72

No matter the PPT even stock I'm between 68 and 73 degrees on cinebench. By putting realtime I got a 14153 but screens were freezed between pass.

CPU 7800x3d

MB b650 aorus élite ax

Ram gskill 6000 MHz cl30

During cinebench r23.200 all cores on ryzen master are between 4990 and 5020 MHz

I think between stock and now thé thermal diff is around 2/3 degrees.

Am I missing something obvious ?

Thanks !

That's normal for realtime priority, it will freeze the computer until the pass completes.

Your default scores really shouldn't be that low though, I'd try to fix that before starting to mess around with PBO. The score is low enough that I'd be curious if for whatever reason two cores were disabled, or if hyper-threading (SMT) was disabled. Try running it with task manager open and with the CPU performance graphs set to per thread, see if all 16 threads are at 100% during the run (if there's only 8 or 12, that would explain it).

I put smt on auto again I disabled it when I built the pc since in games it can bé less than productive. On task manager all cores are 100%

I just did a cinebench it's 4816mhz so less speed but higher score

17890.

It was the smt

Do you have tips on PPT undervolting range ?

Thanks !
