Hey guys , what are the best recommended psu brand you should buy and why ?

Honestly whatever is the "cheapest" for your needs with 80+ Bronze power efficiency

 

Brands to stick with: EVGA > one of the best PSU brands, Corsair, Antec and Seasonic to name a few

I like the Corsair RMx series. I personaly only use the RMx series from Corsair and SuperFlower PSU's.  Seasonic Focus series are good. SuperFlower is fantastic as well. Bequiet and MSI have a few good PSU's.

Most brands have some pretty terrible PSU's as well so do your research.

Don't buy based on brand, every brand has put out a PSU that's a fire hazard, and at least most brands have put out at least one very solid unit. Saying something like "buy an EVGA PSU" could mean you end up with a 650W N1 (a PSU I wouldn't want to be in the same room as) or a 650W P6 (a great PSU), or "buy a Seasonic PSU" could mean you end up with a 650W S12III (pretty bad unit) or a Focus 650 Plus Platinum (really good unit). 

 

What budget do you have and what system are you trying to use it in?

It has the new 12VHPWR connector found on the 4070 (Ti)/4080/4090. If you're getting one of those, you should be aiming for a PSU with that connector natively.

Generally you can't buy anything based on a brand alone, as pretty much every manufacturer has good and bad stuff. In PSUs many brands use several different OEMs depending on what model PSU you are buying. So buying blindly based on brand isn't really a good idea. 

 

If you list specs of your build, or wattage you want, you might get much better advice.

 

Every PC in my house has a Seasonic PSU, however again my statement above still stands, that doesn't necessarily mean I just buy any Seasonic PSU without doing some research first.

Don't buy "brands" (unless Apple fanboi  ), buy stuff according to

Budget

If you choose a PSU based on the needs and budget, what's even the point of going to a PSU tier list...?

Unless you have $30 and can only get crap, there's some good and some bad (or less good) PSU in the same tier
