BIOS update

Windows update

Check event viewer for errors after a match in Fortnite

Are you playing fortnite in DX11 or DX12? Did you try the other?

When you re-installed the game, did you double check that all files had been deleted before the next install? Uninstall buttons don't always catch everything

What are some of the other games that have no issues?

AMD 3600x, 16GB DDR4 3200MHz CL14, GTX 1080, and Ungodly Amounts of Storage

Apex legends runs like a butter on 144 stable fps

i updated bios 2 weeks ago hoping it will work, windows is updated and i tried dx12 and 11 but using 11 just gives me 20 fps more, so the game is playable only on performance mode

Are the graphical settings on Apex similar to what you have set on fortnite? Vsync, resolution, and scaling are similar/the same between both games?

google how to and install DX12 (right overtop what is already on your computer) - then in an administrative cmd prompt, run 'sfc /scannow'

Try DX12/11/performance mode again and see if there is any change

try reinstalling fortnite, or look up on how to get fortnite to run on the rtx 3070, cuz the game might actually be running on the iGPU on the i5.

Directx installator says that i already have current or newer version so the installation isbnot needed then i ran sfc scannow and it said it repaired some corrupted files but i didnt even need to play a game bcs lobby is stuttering as always

I had this same issue. You have to go into the game settings on the Epic client and make sure you check "Download streamed assets" or something like that. That is the issue.

ok so switch to dx11. then change the settings to rt off, etc. then switch back to performance.

Do you have a 4000hz mouse by chance? That may be the culprit as well.
