No video on windows xp computer

Go to solution Solved by Yua,

The first thing I would try is to remove the ram from the motherboard and put it back in.

Can you share the model of this PC and if it makes some beeping sounds when you turn it on?

Yes it makes some really loud beeping sounds. Can't find the model though because the letters on the stickers have faded.

Can you describe the beeping sounds? They are a sequence that indicates the issue.

It should be something like this: short beep, short beep, long beep, short beep, repeat.

If all else fails you can get a USB adapter for the hard drive.

Like @thevictor390 said, in the worst-case scenario, you can buy an IDE to USB adapter and recover all the data from the drive.

I replaced the 2 sticks of ram with a different single one and this fixed the issue as far as i have noticed.17019860287092063147066337365010.thumb.jpg.5662a35817d89ce12e228d5ad3c5c5c2.jpg

I would not recommend using a windows XP computer if it's connected to the internet. If it's not, enjoy! (Looking at the picture it does not appear to have a network connection, but the google page initially made me assume you did have it connected.)
