Should I use riser cable

Hello, I have a gtx 650 and I want to put it in my HP EliteDesk 800 G1 sff. Since it’s sff the GPU won’t fit standing up so I was thinking of putting it sideways? I thought about using a riser cable but I don’t know enough about riser cable. Could some recommend weather I should use one?

Can you even power it? Not all 650's came without a pcie power connection.

 

Also keep in mind molex or sata to 6 pin is a terrible idea and usually ends in molten cables and broken stuff.

 

Also be aware thr gtx 650 hasnt gotten drivers in years and doesnt work in a fair few new games or continously uodated ones

 

You can use  riser yes.
