I had Recently bought A Dell G5 5000 Prebuilt Gaming Pc and went to put a bigger graphics card in it and there are two problems    

1. its a 6 pin (not really a problem)

2. its only 360 watts 

I was wondering if anyone has any advice about a new power supply from dell or a jerry-rigged power supply

There was a factory option for a 500W power supply so that's a good start.

Can you look at your power supply and find the part number? It's possible it is standard ATX and can be replaced with anything.
