Pwm fan splitter problem

Hello to all. So i bought a 1 to 4 pwm fan splitter from ekwb to connect 2 more corsair case fans since my Asus P7P55D has no more fan headers.

 

Problem is,these two run at full throttle and using speedfan to adjust them hasn't come up with any results.Is there a setting or sth in there i didn't notice?

 

Is it a problem of connectivity?

 

I have the splitter connected in the cpu fan header which is,unless i'm wrong, a pwm header.

 

Any help is welcome.
